In-depth dispensing and potting know-how
Solutions for tackling the current challenges in electronics potting, information on the most important trends, and all the latest news from the materials industry. A lot to discover at the annual TechDays on site at Scheugenpflug.
TechDays 23 - THE SPEED TO EXCEED
The need for speed: On 21 and 22 June 2023, everything in Neustadt/Donau revolved around speed. Visitors experienced the fastest dispensing and potting systems for sustainable, high-quality production in action.
The focus was on high-speed solutions for the shortest cycle times and maximum output. In addition to innovative products and new technologies within the Atlas Copco Group, the TechDays were packed with in-depth discussions with experts plus actual and virtual insights and perspectives regarding the future of electronics production.
Video REview - HIghlights 2023
You missed the live event? We have captured the highlights of the TechDays 23 "The Speed to Exceed" for you in this review.
More speed for sustainable electronics manufacturing
See high-speed dispensing including a new high-performance feed system, new automation solutions, 3D inline inspection and rheological know-how for a faster manufacturing process.
Innovation CREATING ADDED VALUE
In an interview, Olaf Leonhardt, General Manager of Scheugenpflug, part of Atlas Copco, explains what “Driving innovation together” means for Scheugenpflug in concrete terms, how it could be seen in action at TechDays and what plans the company has between now and the next in-house fair.
SOLUTIONS FOR MEGATRENDS
Electronics competence at Scheugenpflug. This interview with Christian Ostermeier, Manager Electronics Competence Center, reveals what this means in concrete terms, which dispensing and potting solutions Scheugenpflug offers to meet the current challenges in the electronics industry, where our journey is taking us, and much more.
Live Potting Demos
Ensuring seal quality: Dynamic contour dispensing and quality monitoring with the RTVision system as an integral part of the dispensing cell.
Meeting miniaturization demands: Flexible dispensing from small to large dots with the greatest precision.
Speeding up series production: High-performance dispensing with thermal interface materials.
Insulating electronics: Vacuum potting process with smart degassing control
Solutions for battery assembly
Major trends in automotive are implementing new drive concepts such as battery electric (EV), hybrid (HEV), and fuel cell electric (FCEV). The whole industry around electrification is at incredibly high speed, especially when it comes to the heart of the electrical vehicle – the battery. Depending on the battery concepts different applications and task in serial production must be fulfilled to meet the market requirements. As example, battery cells must be glued in short cycle time, Sensor connected, sidewalls of modules structural glued. A wide range of application technologies and methods are needed – see here our multi nozzle dispenser for honeycomb applications in a LIVE demo.
